7 Reasons to Ditch the TV and Witness SRH Vs KKR Live at the Stadium

IPL Season 11 has begun with full pomp and show after the opening match in Mumbai early this month. Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH); our home team has already added three winning feathers in their cap by winning at the debut home match of the season, against the Rajasthan Royals, followed by winning against the 3-time IPL title winners Mumbai Indians and the recent win against Kings XI Punjab team in the home ground.

With 3 home match wins and 4 away match wins, this season looks interesting and promising enough for the Orange Army to once again bring the trophy home. And; One match to watch Live at the stadium is the upcoming SRH vs KKR match. Scheduled to be held on 19th May 2018 in the home grounds; this battle between the 2 teams is quite interesting and should not be watched on the Tv. Wondering why?

Let’s begin:

  1. The Revenge Factor: If we look at the past 3 IPL Seasons (2015,2016 and 2017 respectively) where both the teams faced each other in ground; it has been a neck breaking battle of the bats especially in 2016 and 2017 when SRH won over KKR in play off, bringing the trophy home in 2016 while KKR defeated SRH in 2017 to take the trophy back home to Kolkata. With 2 strong contenders once again ready to face each other, it will be exciting to see who wins over whom.

  1. War of the Greatest Warriors: For SRH, the squad includes talented players including Shikhir Dhawan, Kane Wiliamson, Rashid Khan and Wriddhiman Saha. KKR too has legendary players like Robin Uthappa, Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik and Nitish Rana in their squad. With such great players facing each other; there is no better reason to watch the match live in stadium.

  1. The All Rounder Ability: SRH have a great pool of all-rounders who can turn the match around with their batting, as well as bowling. Apart from having tried-and-tested foreign players like Shakib Al Hasan, Carlos Brathwaite and Mohammad Nabi, they have reliable, talented Indian all-rounders like Deepak Hooda and Yusuf Pathan. With the presence of these two, SRH can always play an extra batsman just to strengthen their middle-order.

  1. The bowling Ability: SRH’s strongest area in bowling is —pace bowling and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar leads here. He had picked 27 wickets in the last edition of the tournament and was the Purple Cap holder too. He holds the record for most wickets by an SRH bowler too (87). Kumar can open the bowling, and can bowl well in the death too, that makes him dangerous in this format. He will be supported by Sandeep Sharma, Siddharth Kaul and Basil Thampi. It would not be easy for opposition batsmen to get past bowlers of this high quality.

  1. The Win- Win Factor: Seeing SRH’s performance in the previous years, except in 2016 when they bought the trophy home, the team has been an underdog team. But, with 3 wins in their kitty this season (RR and MI) the team tops the chart with maximum points this year is thus, not far from being a part of the finals.

  1. Weekend Factor: You don’t have to apply for a leave to watch this match live at the stadium at this is a weekend match. Rather than going on a boring shopping spree or fighting in lines to grab a movie ticket, why not do something awesome like supporting and cheering for the home team? And the best part is, you simply have to book tickets online, feel like a VIP as you go to redeem them hassle free and enjoy the match, away from hustle bustle of your wife, who won’t scold you publicly unlike at home when you switch on the match (Just kidding!) What a great way to spend your Saturday.

  1. The LIVE Match Experience: When you reach the stadium, there is everything from face painting, tattoos & cheering placards. From waving the tricolour & cheering with slogans; the IPL fever in the stadium is contagious! And each time that the IPL trumpet tune plays, watching the fans light up with excitement is simply worthwhile.
